Imho the background would be better with some neutral tones instead that heavy tones, it creates a strange mood

Otherwise, nice work on the character

Actually I quite like the darker, heavy tones of the background - I think it matches the sad mood of the piece well

Nice cloth folds too, though the spacing on some of them seems little too regular - those larger ones her shoulder remind me of a Greek column and so has a hard quality to it. The smaller ones look good though. I like her face, but maybe her right eye is a little too far out; pulling it in towards her nose more might be a good idea
